Happy 2013!
We hope you enjoyed a long, snowy vacation with your families and are now full of renewed energy for the new year.
How about channeling some of that energy into volunteering for the preschool? We are getting ready to plan our big spring fundraiser, the silent auction. The money we raise goes towards supplies, scholarships, events (ice cream social, storyteller, Family Fun Night), and the rainy day fund, to name a few. If you have enjoyed any of these events (all free to preschool families!), please consider helping out. The more, the merrier!
We need people to brainstorm, solicit donations, collect donations, and organize donations. Some of these jobs require in person contact, and some can be done from home. If you think you want to lend a hand, email us at friendsofhadleypreschool@gmail.com and let us know how you would like to participate. No amount is too little or big!
Our next meeting will take place Thursday, January 10th at 6:30 p.m. at Panera in Hadley. Come for dinner and chat with other preschool parents. We will start our business around 7 p.m.
